Rethinking Legacy and Memory: Behind the Life of Ulysses S. Grant

A small team of three Exhibition Design students developed several rounds of proposals for an exhibition curated by Corcoran students. The designers were responsible for developing the exhibition's visual identity, scheduling, communicating with stakeholders, fabrication, and installation. Each student produced at least one interactive element and took responsibility for a portion of each package proposal.

About the Exhibition:
The titles of General and President have dominated the presentation of Ulysses S. Grant, leaving facets of his life unexplored. Examining GWU’s Ulysses S. Grant III collection, this exhibit seeks to add dimension to President Grant’s legacy by encouraging visitors to be active participants in the historical narrative.
